A range of accounts to suit your needs
Whether you are investing for your retirement, your children’s or grandchildren’s education or any other short-term or long-term project, there are several types of accounts available to you.
Registered Savings Plans
Whatever your savings goal, contribute to a registered savings plan to benefit from attractive tax advantages.
Supplementary plans to the RRSP

RRIF
The Registered Retirement Income Fund allows you to transfer some or all of your RRSP savings and plan your retirement income.

LIF
The Life Income Fund is the result of converting into retirement income the capital accumulated in an RRSP, a LIRA, or a Locked-In RRSP.

LIRA
The Locked-In Retirement Account allows you to grow, tax-sheltered, the amounts you transfer from a pension plan or accumulated pension fund from a former employer.
Non-Registered Investment Account
A non-registered account is a standard investment account. It is the perfect account for saving or investing over the long term once other plans have been maximized.

Unlike registered plans that offer various tax advantages, a non-registered investment account does not provide any tax benefits or grants, and its returns are taxable. However, it allows for saving without contribution limits.
