RRSP: the deadline for your 2023 contribution is February 29
For 2023, the RRSP contribution limit is $30,780. Consult your notice of assessment or contact the ARC to find out your RRSP deduction maximum.
FHSA: the contribution period is from January 1 to December 31.
Unlike the RRSP, the contributions made to your FHSA during the first 60 days of 2024 cannot be deducted from your 2023 income. The can be deducted from your 2024 income.
