Two-factor authentication (2FA)
This easy-to-enable option protects you in the event of a hack. Each time you log in to your account, a random code will be sent to the mobile application of your choice (Google Authentificator or Microsoft Authentificator) so that you can confirm your identity.
Activating 2FA on your Portal
1. Go to the "My Profile" section on the Portal.
2. Go to your “Preferences” to enable two-factor authentication. Then validate the changes.
3. Enter your password to confirm your identity.
(The following instructions will be posted on the Portal)
- On your smartphone, install one of the following applications to use 2FA:
- Google Authenticator from App Store or Play Store, or;
- Microsoft Authenticator from App Store ou Play Store.

In the app, select Add an account (for Microsoft choose personal account).

Choose Scan barcode and scan the code below (or choose Manual entry and enter the key using the Copy feature on your phone).

After clicking the Submit button, you will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code displayed in your Authenticator application (Google or Microsoft).

Once the code is entered and submitted, authentication is completed. Congratulations!
Login notification
Remember that for greater security, you will receive an email each time you sign into your account on the Portal. Therefore, you will be immediately informed of any suspicious connection to your FÉRIQUE account.
